Causes and Treatment of Anaemia

Anaemia
Diets poor in iron result in anaemia. This is a condition where the haemoglobin levels in the blood drop below normal.Iron is responsible for the transport of oxygen throughout your body and aids in red blood cell formation.
Causes of Anaemia.
Pregnancy may cause anaemia, and all pregnant women receive an iron supplement. Growth in adolescence and menstrual loss are also causes as well as medical conditions like renal failure and diets poor in iron.

Some Fruit and Veggies Rich in Iron
Include fruits that contain vitamin C to enhance iron absorption.
Papaya contains vitamin C and is rich in calcium and iron. It also contains enzymes that help your digestive system.
Spinach, green beans, and brussels sprouts, raisins and dried fruits like dried peaches and prunes contain large amounts of iron.

Other Foods Rich in Iron
Liver, red meats, fish, poultry, sunflower seeds, nuts, tofu, soybeans, kidney beans, black beans.
