Fresh as well as dried figs contain good levels of B complex group of vitamins such as niacin, pyridoxine, folates and pantothenie acid.
Dried figs are an excellent source of minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, manganese, iron, selenium and zinc. Figs have high levels of fiber

Figs and Mangoes contain omega 3 for a healthy heart. The body produces all the fatty acids it needs, except for omega 6 fatty acid and omega 3 fatty acids which have to be consumed from the diet. Both of these fatty acids are needed for growth and repair and are important components of cell membranes

Cholesterol
The essential fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6 that are found in figs and mango play a large part in reducing cholesterol. Excessive levels of cholesterol in the blood collect in the arteries, hardening and narrowing them. If cholesterol accumulates in the arteries that feed the heart, problems such as heart attacks result.

Figs have high calcium content and is anti-inflammatory protecting against arthritis and osteoporosis.

Figs contain lutein which protect eyes from developing cataracts and ensures good vision.
